apnswitch problem

Hi!
I am pretty new to android world, so be easy on me!

Background about my android device:
I changed phone company recently, got the mobile phone (Samsung galaxy spica) but i still did not use any sim card on it...

I rooted it and installed samdroid


The thing is that i will not have any data contract, so, i want my mobile phone to only be able to connect via wi-fi..... for that pourpose, i installed apnswitch... but i cannot understand its usage pretty well still...when i start it, i get this:

Is it because i still did not input the sim card and, hence, i have no apns defined?

I want to have this set up before i start using my sim card so i will not be charged by gprs or 3g usage.....

that is for 3G, data stuff.. you need the wifi thingy. it is preinstall in your phone. goto setting, click wifi and network , then click wifi settings. enter your wifi name and password and ta da.

then there's the preinstall wifi toggle call Switcher ( it is preinstall in your phone already)
