App 2 SD , is it worth it?

I'm trying to speed up my X10
I've did the JIT /root/ uninstalled apps thing, but I've heard you can use APP2SD to move all of your apps to your SD card, which will speed up benchmark results??

R u running a custom Froyo (2.2) rom? I believe that app only works with Froyo and higher.

oh dear, I'm using the stock 2.1... Guess it's a no for me then lol
