Hi everybody. I'm needing a good eq app. I have bass booster pro , but it just isn't doing the job . sounds echoey and doesn't help with bass it did on my HTC evo v , but now I have a nexus 4 , and it's not the same. Any help would be appreciated. BTW I'm on the nexus 4 running stock 4.4.2 KitKat not rooted with nova launcher pro . if taht matters any . also I hope I'm putting this in the right section of this forum I am still kind of new .
Thank you .
Anthony .

I don't use the equalizer settings much but PowerAmp music player sounds much better than the stock music player on my Note 3. It's a pay app but once you try it out you'll probably want to go ahead and purchase it.

If you don't want to buy any app you could try some free DSP aps that contain a lot of codecs and then use some free player. Stock player sucks, IMHO.

I use Poweramp Pro. I connect my android to my home system mic input jack & use some settings like the amp gain & some advanced options to push my spc created music through Cervin Vega speakers & the app (if setup right) produces great bass & levels. I also use Sony Studio Headphones on my phone which is mainly why I paid for the app. I recommend it as well. Good luck

Hi everybody . so I got DSP manager now . seems to be doing a pretty decent job . I turned up the bass boost and the virtualizer . I left the eq levels at about the middle . is that good or should I change them any advice on that?. I don't have much music on my phone atm I mostly stream, but I will be going on a trip to a place with no WiFi , so Poweramp sounds like what I definitely need. I appreciate everyone's help ,
Thank y'all ,
Anthony .
