App advice

Have just bought a Galaxy tab2 10.1 and will need to use it to work with office programs (ie: excel, word). I've looked at the Documents to go and Quickoffice pro apps but wanted to know a bit about them before buying the full version.

Biggest question is do they run ALL aspects of excel? By that, I mean do they support conditional formatting and macros. The free versions don't. If they do, which do people recommend or is there another option that is better.

All help appreciated.

Yes it comes with Polaris office but that does not have full excel functionality. Looking for something that will do everything desktop excel does. Just want to know if the full versions of suggested apps do have full functionality.

Nothing available on Android or even iOS has ALL the functionality as desktop Excel has, actually.

The only tablet Excel app that would have close to that would be Mobile MS Office to be released on Windows RT tablets on Oct 26 (and MS says even that will have some functions missing). Not available for Android. (Windows Surface Pro would be using actual desktop Excel). But as for current Android apps, none.

You'd have to find one that has the functionality you need, and then pick your sacrifices. Ot you could try Google Drive's spreadsheets. The closest you can probably get to would be MS Web Office apps, via your browser.
