[APP] Battery charge in the status bar. Fast. Simple. Beautiful.

Version 1.2.1 of Battery has been released!

What's new:
- Finally added a widget. Actually two! A small one and a big one.
- The next major update (1.3) is coming in less than two weeks!

We are working on this problem. It will be solved in the next major version, we hope.

That might not really be a problem per se. Plenty of apps across many platforms require you delete old versions before installing new versions. As long as you advise folk of that, you're covered. :D

Is it possible to replace the stock battery in the status bar on an unrooted phone?

I also agree with Kicksilver about the different colors for the notification bar. That would be the convincing factor for me to choose this app over others. I really hope it can be implemented.

Also, can you please provide the app .apk to download for those who can't access the Android Market?

I really liked the widget, nice job.

ps: after updating, you have to run it manually for the notifition to be shown on the bar... Maybe an auto-run setting after updating?

ps2: really looking forward to my two main tips

I'm very interested in finding a way to have the battery percentage displayed in the notification bar (preferably superimposed in front of the battery icon), but I am such a newbie to Android that I simply don't know where to find this.

Can anyone point me to the right place? When I search for "battery" in the Android Market I come up with what seems like dozen of widgets (which I don't want), and I can't find this specific app.

TIA,
Katherine

Finally found your app in the marketplace, sheesh there are a lot of others!

Is there any chance you could superimpose the percentage number in from the the existing battery icon? Save on precious real estate in the notification bar. Otherwise it is exactly what I was looking for!

I see you fixed the auto-start issue, thanks.

Now, the only thing missing is the initial charge level, and how long it's been outta charge.

Then, it will be perfect, and you won't even need to update this anymore.

Dear dev,

Would you be willing to implement some of my suggestions? :D

Your app is wonderful, I'm installing it into every Android that comes in my hands, and they're loving it.

Would you be willing to implement some of my suggestions?
You ask for three different colors for the notification bar and one pulsation, and if we do this, the size of the app will double, and even triple.

About these two:
"- Shows me since when it is unplugged
- Shows what charge level it has been discharging from"

We should rearrange the interface to put this info. Maybe it will happen in the 1.5 update. BTW, 1.4 comes tomorrow, it will fix the size issue with the digits on Ice Cream Sandwich devices.

Your app is wonderful, I'm installing it into every Android that comes in my hands, and they're loving it.

Thanks! :)
