Apps app clones?

nocashnas

Lurker
Does anyone have any feedback or experience using app clones to get a jump start on app development (ie. Appscrip.com or appdupe.com )

I wanted to make a uber like product such as uber maids or uber massage. But wanted to see if these app clones were feasible or a scam or not a route i should go in.

Thanks for any help and advice. (This is my first app)

You want to do a "taxi" like pay for ride or car sharing app? Uber isn't the only app or service doing that. However you can't go stealing or plagiarizing someone else's proprietary code, because that's copyright infringement, e.g. using code from the Uber app. Unless it has some open source components, you can use those. The other thing you have to watch for if intending to do an app or service clone or lookalike is software patents. IANAL

Hi...I want to do a service app like house call maids using the uber type experience. I wasnt trying to steal the proprietary code. Simply asking if the code bases (app clone template) provided by sites like appscrip.com is a direction to go in as they are selling the code base for an uber type app that they have built. (thats what I can tell from the looks of it) or if there other options out there as well that will not reauire me to create this from scratch.

Thx for your help
