app compatibility issue

I'm having a problem redownloading a few apps I have downloaded before got rid of and now incompatible with my device.The only apps that have this message are apps I have had before on this device . Anyone no what the problem is.

I'm having same problem with my new Galaxy Player, apps that would install on my Optimus say not compatible. Player is 2.3.5, but an app like Wifi Finder gives same error (and GO Launcher, but I installed it from my .apk and works fine). Don't know why an app that finds wifi, wouldn't be compatible with a wifi type tablet.

Most are apps with low requirements like quick pics and hide it pro.Neither should be incompatible.
