Apps App creation help required

Hi,

I am creating an app and wanted to know is it possible to create an app that has a countdown timer (sort of). So for example I would like one section to countdown from 3 mins down to zero, it must all be visible throughout. I have no technical knowledge so wouldnt have a clue where to start. Although I am a quick learner.

Hi Thanks for the help.

i am currently downloaing the software to start. but still not entirely sure how it will work. Will i need to write a java script or a html script if so, thats fine i can try work that out. But i wasnt able to locate a particular script for what i want.

Everything I have seen is like an event count down timer, when really and truly I want something similar to a stop watch but in reverse (if that makes sense).

There is a specific CountdownTimer component you can use within your app

No problem. If you don't know the Java programming language, then you would probably do well to read through at least an online tutorial, or a book, just to get you up to a level where you can start coding an app.
