app data backup after the fact

I did some searching prior to posting

So my evo 4g to evo 3d migration i sent all my apps to sd using androzip. I actually traded in my evo 4g (sprint buyback) and no longer have the phone.

I want my game data saves and see that titanium backup you need root access.

because it is after the fact,
1) would it be too late for me to get that data since i used androzip to only backup apps? rather than rooting and backing up everything with titanium backup first?

I have a direct copy of everything off the sd card.

2) If I someday root the 3d, with the data I have, would I be able to restore the data?

sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place

Yes. Moving the app to the sd card ONLY moves the app, not the app's data.

Nope. You would have had to root the evo first, backup with titanium, then root the 3d and restore with titanium.
