Hi, this is my first post, nice to meet you all.
I am developing an app for my final year project in college, I amen't great at the coding and have winged it until now and now have to develop a full blown app. I have my idea for my app and have a good idea on how im going to go about it and am just looking for some feedback on certain aspects of it.
The app idea I am not going to say because i don't want to give it away because its good, however i will tell some of its functionalities and question you how feasible it sounds?
The apps mane function will take in some information in forms, the app will then break the information down into smaller bits aligning a piece of information on each specific date going forward until a certain time which the user will also select at the start. The user can test display it, if they are happy the click continue, and the information saves. The user will also then have the option to have this piece of information alarmed to them each day via notification on a certain day.
I intend on developing this in eclipse using java for coding, PHP for transferring information to the database, I will use an online server for MySQL as users will need an account and a database for each user, then JSON for communicating with the database which I think is for log in etc and potentially soe SQLite if needed for cached memory such as user name etc.
Could some of you provide me with some feedback on not the idea, but the actual methods of going about it and how feasible it seems?
