Hi community!
I want to show you Floating Notes! Floating Notes is not an usual note-application. Notes get opened in a window and can be dragged around and resized. These windows fly above the android system and this allows true multitasking!

Make a note, no matter what app you have open. Floating Notes stays on top!

Floating Notes is a note application that allows you to view and edit notes in up to 4 windows. The windows hover over any other application. This is true multi-tasking! Browse the web, watch a video ... while taking a note with Floating Notes!

Features:
- Up to four windows open at once!
- Take, save and open notes
- send / rename / delete / combine notes
- set notes as new calendar entry
- Open each .txt file with Floating Notes (*)
- Minimize / Maximize windows
- Resize windows (supports "pinch to resize")
- Widget to open a new note quickly

Floating Notes requires an Android version of at least 2.1 and 616KB on phones storage.
There is a free version with less features here
The App is available in Google Play for 1.49€

Hi, just tried this out and it's looking very promising.

The good:

Ad free! Will definitely consider purchasing after I've used it for a week or so.
Floats over all the apps I tried.
The notes Looks pretty
Seems very smooth
Resize is smooth and sweet.
Shrinks to a title-bar

The bad:

Nag to upgrade on every startup
No persistent/pin to status-bar option (preferably with option to start on boot-up)
The main interface isn't as pretty as the actual notes.
Can't send/share to it (doesn't appear in other apps share menu)
Sending notes from it can only be done from main interface - why not from note menu?
Doesn't have option to auto-title notes.

Conclusion:

Overall, a very cool application. I'm certain I'll be purchasing this next week and I recommend others to give this a try.

Thanks for your reply and suggestions.
I will add an option in the settings to show a persistent notification in your statusbar (this will be available in the pro version)
You can share existing txt files to Floating Notes PRO, this feature is disabled in the free version.
Sending notes directly out of a window is a good idea. I will keep it in mind.
Thanks!

CoverNote is a note application that allows you to view and edit notes in up to 4 windows. The windows hover above any other application. This is true multitasking! - shrink windows to their titlebars
- resize windows (drag the bottom right corner)
- activate bulletpoints to make lists!
- TAB-key supported (e.g. for Asus TF101 keydock)!
- press the menu-key/top left button to popup the menu
- persistent notification in your phone's statusbar to open a new note quickly
- change font and textsize!
