App for Checking in and Checking out Items

Hello, for our high school we want to keep track of our technical equipment that we lend out. Is there an app that will allow me to enter a barcode and "check out" and item than when it is returned i can enter the barcode again and the item will be "checked in". Something similar to a library system? Any help would be very appreciated! Thank you!
