App for cloud/alternative photo storage?

Lurker
My SD card is full, mostly of pictures. Anyone know of a good app that will easily store photos somewhere other than the SD card or internal storage that have the photos easily accessible?

Personally I won't store my photos or other sensitive information like tax docs/personal docs on Dropbox. Work related documents like Powerpoint presentations and some other documents that I'd like to share are the stuff I would put on Dropbox or Google docs.

I'd not recommend Dropbox if you have a larger amount if photos. For me, I use a gallery that works with Picasa, which has no limit to the number of photos if you allow Picasa to compress the photos. This way, you never worry about limits for photos again.

Dropbox is a nice storage if you have an exended dropbox size (I have 9GB). However I prefer sugarsync for my photos.

But then you have low-quality compressed photos. Ugh. It's like buying CDs for high-quality sound and saving it as low-quality mp3s.

You can save a lot of photos in just a couple of GB. If that's not enough, well Dropbox just doubled the additional free storage they give for referrals.

True, but for me, I look at where I'm going to view the pics. If I'm printing them or viewing them on a larger screen, I'd worry about that. Since I view my photos almost exclusively on my phone, am I really losing that much quality on such a relatively small screen? For me, the tradeoff is worth it.

I use Dropbox but also Picasa. With Picasa i upload my photo's from the PC once i transfer them over from the phone and in Gingerbread just sync my Picasa web album, that way i get full resolution photo's.

So all my photo's are in four places, Pc, Dropbox, Picasa and on my phone.

In the Picasa desktop client just go into settings and make sure the photo's get uploaded in the original size.

The reason I asked is bc my phone storage is full and I can't save anymore pictures. Can I use dropbox or picasa easily and quickly to save my photos there (move them from my phone gallery to dropbox/picasa) and easily and quickly view them. I want to be able to view my photos as quick and easy as i can with the gallery but not have to save them to my sd card or phone

Dropbox will do that. No need to save on the phone to view - just tap on the photo file in the Dropbox app. You can even scroll back & forth just like in the Gallery.

You can jpeg to ftp app available in android market. It is absolutely free. I use the same for the storage of my pictures

From the convo above, I think you want High Quality pictures viewable in a regular way on your phone. My best option for you would be to upload to Picasa, which will automatically sync to your own phone's gallery, this will make your photos viewable every where.
Sure dropbox is AMAZING... but not for what you want...
