App for compiling PDF's

[blarelli]

Hey guys, I just spent the last hour looking at home made book scanning devices and wondered if there was an app for android that will let you make PDF's using the camera and then compile them all into the same PDF file that is searchable.
Any ideas?

CamScanner would do that but the sheets of the PDF file won't be searchable because they are pics converted to PDF.

For to be searchable PDFs, they must been converted from readable docs.

For to make readable docs from pics or directly from the cam you'd need an OCR app.
With more than a few sentences to convert such an app would work online with the app's server.

I'd use an ORC reader on PC to do the job
