App for Controlling Permissions

Just wondering if anyone knows of an app that can control app permissions. I want to stop certain apps from accessing network or communication etc, as they are often unnecessary.
The app needs to work with kit kat.

Thanks in advance

If an app needs to do X, and you prevent it from doing X, the best you'll see is a notice that since the app can't do X, it's forcing closed. You'd have to rewrite the app to prevent it from using services you don't want it to use.

That may be true, but is not necessarily so. For example, denying Internet permission to an app that only uses it to serve ads will not typically cause it to FC.

For the OP, since you are on 4.4, that eliminates using App Ops, so I think you'll need root to do what you want. There are Xposed Framework modules that can selectively block permissions, or there is always the old standby, Permissions Denied.
