App for missed calls while having no signal?

Hello all!
I have samsumg galaxy s2 and am looking for an app that logs missed calls specifically when my phone has no signal. Any one know of any good ones?

Thanks<3

I believe the typical missed call notification works by detecting that a call came in without a related completed connection... If you don't have service, or have the phone off, there is no incoming call as far as the phone is concerned...

Unless your carrier provides an API to query across the network to tell you that someone tried to call you, I can't imagine how such an app would work.

I agree that it would be nice to have the ability though... I know at times I have been waiting for a call and got concerned that the person may have tried to call when I was in a dead spot.

Voicemail?
Well often times people don't leave a voice message, so you still don't know they called. I've had this happen numerous times to me!

Hmm I see, that's unfortunate. I'm waiting for an important call, so an app like that would, indeed, be very handy!

Thank you both for your replies!! =)

Imo it would depend on whether missed call notifications are generated in the phone itself or pushed by the carrier upon non-completion of a call in their system. In the latter case you get to see every missed call as soon as you have signal again.
Of course if callers don't have identifying numbers you're out of luck...

Me I have no time for callers who don't identify themselves AND don't (bother to) leave a message. Or to text me as another alternative available to them.
If they can't be bothered then I am not interested.

If you are using Google Voice for incoming calls (give out your GV number and have it forward to your cell phone), you can configure GV (via the web site) to place missed calls in the Inbox. Then, when you get a (data) signal, you'll get a GV notification if you had any missed calls (or voicemails, or texts), and the caller's number will be logged, allowing for easy call back.

+1.

To the OP, as others have said, if your phone has no service then no app will help you out as the 'phone call' will only get as far as your service provider. Mine (Vodafone in the UK) sends a text as soon as I have a voicemail left for me. If the caller didn't leave a message I get nothing so, as mentioned in the post above, I'm not interested.

Your network may have an option to notify you of missed calls - mine used to, but I turned it off years ago and don't know whether they still do. It's the only way that's possible though.

I know this is old but it comes up on the front page on Google
Here's a solution if you have a US number
