The App

Fully featured alarm clock, designed to wake you up gently and make sure you get up.

Tempted to keep hitting snooze? Try the optional "Walk to dismiss" feature. Get up and walk around or the alarm will sound again!

Features include:
* Repeating alarms
* Custom schedules
* Gently increasing alarm volume (no more shocks!)
* Play your own music
* Snooze options (including max snoozes)
* "Walk to dismiss" option to get you out of bed!

This is my first Android app, so any feedback would be great. I'm certainly open to suggestions for improvements.

2) "Walk to dismiss". If you don't get out of bed, the alarm is going to go off again!

Looks awesome! I'll give it a try tomorrow - 9am start :D

How did you get on phalt? I've really no idea how well the app (and more importantly the signal processing from the accelerometer sensors) behaves on other devices... so any feedback would be great.

Have been 5 updates since last announcement.

* Support for custom alarm backgrounds.
* Alarm auto deactivate after period.
* Added settings for options and alarm defaults.
* Added extra filters to "walk to dismiss" to make it harder to fool.
* A number of minor bug fixes.

It's working fine on my HTC HERO (uk) and it's a fairly old phone. I'm getting a desire hd upgrade soon though so I'll let you know about that too.

I've been able to "trick" it into thinking I'm walking when I'm actually shaking it in weird motions though, but I like how it realises you're shaking it if you keep moving it the same way for a while, nice feature!

Can this alarm be set up to repeat every 4 weeks? I work on a 4 week schedule. Monday, Tuesday Days, Friday Saturday Sunday, Nights, Wednesday Thursday Days and so on. Can this ap only repeat every week or can I repeat it every 4 weeks?
