[App help] Installed SWYPE - can't enter passcode now

Help! I just installed "SWYPE + Dragon" (which I downloaded from Amazon Appstore) on my wife's unrooted phone. Now I can't unlock her phone. When the screen comes up to enter the PIN, there's no keyboard. Since I can't get into the phone, I can't change any settings to try to disable SWYPE. Any suggestions?

I don't know if it will help, but have you tried rebooting the handset?

I rebooted several times with no change. After some digging, I found I could restart the phone in "Safe Mode" and was able to change some keyboard settings. Turns out that there were some activation steps after switching the keyboard to Swype. As soon as I completed those steps, it started behaving normally.
