a verizon wireless rep told me about an android app that turns your music into ring tones does any one know the name of the app he could not tell me the name of it please help

You can do it with the Built-In Music Player. Not many people know this.
Open the stock "Music" app, start playing the song, then press Menu Button -> More -> Set as Ringtone.
You'll have the option to set it as the default phone ring, a ring for just a specific contact, and even select which part of the song you want played. Right in the default music player app.
