Guys I am new to the form and new to this app thing, just got a Gallaxy S11 about two months ago and want to download some golf apps. I really haven't done this before and need to know how to do it and where to go to download. Can I download to my computer and then transfer to my S11? I find it hard to navigate the web on my S11 and would prefer to do it on my home computer and transfer it over. Any help and info on this would be great thanks. I know it is probably easy but just help me get started thanks.

You can't download an app to a PC then transfer.
Are you looking for golf apps from the Play store or some other source? Your best bet is to log into the Google Play store from your PC. You can brows apps there then you can select install from and it will start installing on your phone.

Really no need for a PC or to navigate the web on your phone. Finding and installing apps right from your phone is very easy.
Just open the Google Play Store app, tap the search key in the upper right corner, type for example 'golf' and hit the enter key. It will pull up lotsa golf-related apps and games with basic info, screenshots, user reviews, etc. Just tap the 'Install' button on what you want. If it's a non-free app you will need a credit card.

Music Player on Android Tablet running ICS
Why can't we have even simple apps that work. Why does this crap app continually lose my playlists. I don't sync or do anything but add songs and then just wait because in a few hours or at the most a few days all the songs, hundreds of them are missing from the playlists.
I so hoped when someone other that MicroSoft was making apps we could STOP WASTING TIME on stupid repeatitive fix-its. Come on Google this is 2012
I'm sick of my ever gps move being tracked by a software giant who can't write a simple music player app. What is wrong with this picture and have we been so conditioned by MS that we don't even expect things to work and instead are excited by the search for another new app that will also WASTE TIME because it also doesn't work.
So is Google syncing my playlists somewhere in their CLOUD with some music store that doesn't exist because I don't want it to so they keep erasing my songs from the lists? And then when my frustration level reaches a peak I guess then I'm a kook because I'd like to listen to my playlists and instead I'm don't because the songs are gone.
The worst thing about these software GIANTS is you can't talk to a human being who cares about your issue. Why should they care?

I am actually looking for an app for golfing a gps app to give me distance and a view of the course if possible.

Swing by Swing is a good app. Another good one is Golf Logix.

No Google Play? The icon will say "Play", not "Google Play". Do you have an icon called Market? Google Market recently changed to Play. Your phone may have not gotten the update.
