Help App icons disappear when I move to SD Card

I moved a couple of apps to the SD card and now I don't see the icons on the installed app screen. Is this normal? Is there a way around it? I have to launch them with a manager app.

Have you rebooted the phone to see if they return? You may also want to try SDRescan, which might help. Are the apps still in the Applications list, and you just lost the shortcuts from the Home Screens?
