App idea/pre development ?'s

Been noodling an app idea and just started messing with it today. From what i understand this hasnt been done and i think its a good idea, just looking to get a little feedback.

In basic terms im trying to create an "encryption app" that will encrypt/decrypt text sent to and from devices using secure certificates (similar to kleopatra/gnupg etc except for android)

what y'all think?

it would be a good app for anyone that has private conversations, protected from snooping BY the feds. Myself - I have a nosy ass girlfriend that is always trying to snatch my phone and have a look. LOL

Nah. The feds would contract General Dynamics to build a billion dollar infrastructure to do this instead. Again (besides the Navy Marine Corps intranet)
