App install for multiple users.

I have my Nexus7 setup with two users. We both can download and install apps in our own account, works great.

Once in a while we would like to both have the same app. Short of both of us downloading and installing the app, is there a way to install it once so it is available to both users' accounts?

Thanks

It's a licensing thing, apps are tied to users not devices.

You could add one of the gmail accounts as a secondary account to one of the user accounts, then try downloading an app using that gmail account on Play and seeing if it's available to both users?

It would kinda defeat the purpose of having 2 user accounts on the device though.

If that was confusing, let me know. :o

HUH? :D ^^^^^^^^

Apps are tied to the user account like El Presidente stated so unfortunately you both would have to download in order for both to have it.

There is a app in the play store called multi user app share and it does exactly what you want

The app is amazing, but note that" any paid apps that use Google's license verification will probably not work or not work for long. So adding your Google Account to the secondary user's play store is probably still the best way to share paid apps."
