Root App Installation Problems

I've been having a problem recently trying to install certain apps on my Ally. The app that I choose to download will download perfectly fine, then start to install. Once the app is at the final stages on installation, I get a pop-up error message that looks like:

App Install Error
Package file is invalid
[OKAY]

Off the top of my head, I've had this problem with GO Launcher EX and Reckless Racing.

I dont really know. Maybe try wiping you cache so it will redownload the whole file. Are you downloading these from the market?

I am. I'm also trying to download the .apk from the Internet and when installing it manually, but it always tells me the app was not installed. I'll try wiping the download cache, thanks.
