App like "Feathers (iphone)" for Android?

[dexta]

Feathers iPhone App for Twitter: Decorate your tweets.

Im looking for an app that does the same thing as Feathers does, for iPhone... Being able to type with the other crazy characters / little icons etc.

I know this is similar to emoji, and I am still waiting for that as well for Android, but I was hoping something similar to feathers was atleast available!

Anyone know? Thanks!

I think something like this would essentially have to be built into the OS, or at least a modification of it (ROM). To my knowledge, not such thing exists fro Adnroid. Emoji is actually built into iOS and left locked out in the US (god knows why).
