I'll be very glad to receive any feedback. I obtained a few comments about crash and force close, but no one send me logs with crash from logcat or Locus/logs directory! Also people don't read description on market and than comments like: "Why Google account permission, bam ... one star" appear, grr!! I hate this

So, please try, any feedback is very welcome and some market comments also. And if you have time and know My Maps, try support of My Maps in Locus (mainly editing). It's great feature for me and I really wanna know if you like it also

Thanks community!

Only just came across this tool. Looks very interesting.....
Must find some spare time to go through the App in more detail.

Hopefully this reply will raise the interest back again for you.

Thanks! Somehow the web site found me and my phone, and there's the app. I figured for sure they'd find a way to lock out the geography, but apparently not.

At first glance of the descriptions there seems to be a considerable overlap in functionality with Mapdroyd, and others. And since I try not to register 20 times a day I need more convincing of its unique benefits before I download, install, and test drive.

Hi, I tried the app just yesterday and tested it without connection.
It was quite good, for example:
-the process of downloading maps for offline use:
*it's quite simple and friendly, but
*when I want a good detailed map the size scales to hundreds of MB even for a small area. I was trying with google maps, maybe there are other maps that are smaller, which one do you recommend for offline use?
-It quickly detected my position in the open without internet connection, that's really great
-The scrolling around the map is great, pretty much like google maps (It's a good thing in my opinion)

I didn't get to try it out much in my Nexus S, I installed it last night, so I don't know how the battery consumption is, but for the short while I tried another app (MyTrails, which ran my battery out in 3 hours of gps tracking) this one used very little battery in my opinion.

Lastly, do you have any website for help and description of the app? Please let me know if you have one :)

Greetings and keep up the good work!

I put Locus Pro on my Moto Xoom. I like Locus except that I can't make it show position, like it doesn't communicate with GPS. The app opens on Prague, which is ok, but I want it to open on my location (position).

I activate the bottom-left "position" icon and the top-right "GPS" icon, and the Sat screen opens, with the GPS button saying "OFF." I push the button, and error message comes up: "Unable to connect to device."

I get current position on my other apps, so I know the internal Xoom GPS is working. My BT GPS tracker is also working, and Locus can't connect with either of them, or show my position.

I return to the Home screen, and the antenna icon shows "off" again. I push it and Sat screen opens with GPS button showing "off" also. GPS defaults to off? What am I missing?

Also, I want to know what is the "Offline mode" in the Quick Switch menu? Should it be on or off?

When can I get a manual??
