I am quite interested in your app, however, as it stands, there is one thing I could not find listed in the features section of your website that would make me buy it - that is the cumbersome way of activating and deactivating of the GPS function in ICS 4.x.x. I have reduced this convoluted way of switching GPS on/off by using an app/widget called "Extended Controls" from the Honolulu Team, which does a great job on all the toggles I want to use (10 in my case), but it still takes me to "location Services" where I have to tick the GPS satellite tab.
Here comes my question, would it be possible to devise a macro that would go through the steps necessary to activate the GPS function, either when I press the EC widget GPS button or, when I run my Navigon SatNav app, or Google maps or any app that I choose to select for this event (like an event list that would trigger a certain action)?
I hope I have explained myself sufficiently for you to provide the relevant answer.

Hi,

Unfortunately it is not possible to switch on/off the GPS functionality from a standard Android application (hence why you are taken to the location services). I'm guessing it will be possible to set it on devices with root access, would that be of any interest to you?

I plan on adding more features including "Root only" ones, so I'll certainly add this to the top of my list.

Thanks for your comments!
