Help App manipulation

One of the features I really liked about iOS was the ability to delete apps from my phone while it was wired to my laptop. In addition, I could move apps to different pages and folders while it was wired to the laptop. Everything was done over the laptop and a simple sync would perform those changes on my phone.

Now I know some of you might say, just do it from your phone. But that is the problem. I have tried to delete a task manager app and a AP app, manually from the phone and they will not delete. I was hoping software like KIES would allow me to do this, but it does not. Can anyone suggest something?

You won't be able to delete those specific apps unless you root and use something like Root Explorer or Titanium Backup... Having access via a PC won't make a difference here.

Now, as to accessing from a pc similar to itunes, you would need something like Droid VNC Server and tightVNC on your PC. Start Droid VNC Server and connect to it using Tight VNC, and you essentially have remote desktop to your phone with full mouse/keyboard support.

AP is installed as a system app, so you can't get rid of it unless you root your phone (obtain higher privileges and access on your phone). It's part of what at&t installed on your phone to make money off 3rd parties. We call them bloatware.

Only as a superuser will you be able to play with system files.
