I use both music through Google play and text to speech at work and when I close the music app and try to start the text-to-speech the music app comes back up from the headset controls. This is after I force close the music app all the way down. I have also noticed this with other music apps, but only once in a while. The Google play music does this every time. It only releases the Bluetooth controls once I start the tts from the app itself.
