Help App on one tablet only...

petwanel

Lurker
I have one phone and two tablets but but do want all apps to appear or work on all devices. How can i download an app to one tablet only? Thanks.

This happens because you are using same Google account in all devices.

To avoid this

Go to settings>scroll down to accounts>
Google, tap here and tap on account
name>three dot menu>tap here and remove account.
Switch off device for ten seconds.
Switch on device.
Go to settings >scroll down to accounts
tap on this>add account>google >
Create a new account.

That's weird. I have two tablets on the same account (plus my account is on my mom's tablet), and all tablets have different apps and I don't even do anything special to prevent mirroring.

Hi,

I mean the app is not installed automatically, but,

When we go to Google play store> menu> my apps and games> all
Here the name of the app which is installed in other devices ( same default account)can be seen with a X mark.

That's normal. The only way you can do what you want is to use a different Google account on all devices. What you are seeing is associating the app to an account, instead of a device. This was done so that if you buy an app on one device, you can download it free on another device as long as the buying Google account is there.

Download it to your pc first then just pass it over to the tablet you want it on with a USB cable!!!
