app organization and google search

Two things are driving me berserk in android 4.0.3!!

the first of which is how the app manager now sorts and scrolls horizontally... please, please, please tell me there is a wayto make the app and widget screen continuously vertical instead!

The second is when I do agoogle search from the tablet it shows android apps in the search results, omfg this is annoying. I just want search results forregular websites... not apps. Anyone know how to fix this???

Not sure about your first question, but the second question try looking under your settings menu when in the Google search. Look for an option for searchable items and go thru the list checking off what apps you want it to search within.

Tried already.. there werent any settings that would affect it looked everywhere.

What tablet do you have? It will help to know that in case they're different setting for your search. To go back to vertical scrolling, you'll need a new launcher. Most let you choose how you want the app drawer to behave. Check out Nova and ADW.

On my phone, its just open search>menu>settings>searchable items. You don't go to settings. You open the search app. Then press menu button then settings.

This is exactly what johnkubik should be doing.

Once there he can check whic items he would like Google to search.
