Verizon updated the Note 5's to Nougat last week. I have been using the phone for a year and a half. For that time I have a radio streaming app that I listen to while I work out. Since the update, after 5 or so minutes the phone shuts the app off, I assume to preserve battery.
I have gone into the battery settings, and removed the app from the Power Monitor with no success. I have also turned the power monitor off completely, also without success. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no change as well. This is the only app it happens on, as Pandora and my MP3 player does not use the same kind of battery useage.
Is there a setting I am not finding that would cause this? If I turn the screen back on every 5 minutes or so, it continues to work.
Thanks
