Hello, this is not the usual question you might find on this page, but last night when I tried to open Instagram on my phone, it kept crashing. I have tried everything, restarting my phone, reinstalling, but it didn't work. (I have a Samsung Galaxy S SGH-T959V running android 2.3.6.) And when I went to the app store, the comments on the Instagram page were full of complaints about the new update, and realized that some of them were from people with an S2 or S3, who probably are running a version of android below 4.4.4.
So what is causing the problem? The old firmware and Instagram is becoming one of those apps where you have to have 4.4.4 or higher to run it, or is it just a buggy version of Instagram? (Version 6.21.2 I think.)
