Help App problems after upgrade

I made the mistake of upgrading before reading reviews. :( I am having problems with several apps that I never had before. For example, I read A LOT of Kindle books. Now, kindle is stuck at the "get Kindle" screen, which directs me to the play store. when I go to upgrade the app, it says I have insufficient storage. I have plenty of storage left on my phone, approximately 9 gigs. So I hit open, and it goes back to the "get kindle" screen. frustrated. other apps either don't respond or are glitchy when they never were before. Am i doing something wrong, or is the upgrade just this bad? Can I get my "old phone" back, meaning can I go back to the old os? thanks for any help you can give me!

First, despite the 8GB (or more) that you have avail for data storage...
you've only got 1GB for app storage, and if you're over 900MB, the phone will give you "insufficient storage."

Which means you've got to go to your settings>>apps and either uninstall some apps, or move them to the SD card.

:( my phone is basically useless. I can only make calls sometimes. Sometimes the screen freezes and I can't even shut it off. I have to either wait till it discharges or take out the battery and put it back in. When I turn it back on, sometimes it works. It freezes constantly asking me to force close whatever app I'm using. SO FRUSTRATED! Is there a way to downgrade without root? Please?

when you upgrade a app, you need the app space plus a aditional 2x the size so 1 50mb app you need 100mb +50mb to unpack, yes its slower to put to media, but @ 12g media space adding a 32gb sd like me works also, but it will never add to your 'external sd' and im a expert @ pantech burst , i talk to pantech about their device and the builders know less then i do about it, they talk to me about how to fix bugs and patches
