Help App Problems With New SanDisk Card

We have a Trek HD 4G LTE and we plugged in a
BasAcc Micro USB OTG to USB / SD Memory Card Reader Adapter
but it's not working. I plugged the adapter up to my Samsung Galaxy S5 active and it automatically pulled up the pics from the SD card. Any suggestions?
