App settings on gs9

my app setting on facebook is gone. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the facebook app and still nothing. Not even getting notifications on my icon or round for that matter. Please help

I followed what facebook said to do. Log out, uninstall, reinstall and see if app settings would be back and it didn't work.

Messenger was pinging yesterday, but not today
 
since you just got the phone, i would go ahead and do a factory reset. it might have done an update and it either did not download properly or some how was not installed correctly by the phone.

how do I do a factory reset. Was trying something else but didn't work. Getting the pop up from messenger but no sound
