App Store update?

Hi,

I'm sorry I couldn't find this information in the threads. My husband and I each have an LG Optimus V from Virgin Mobile. We purchased the phones at the same time. I activated my phone a month earlier than my husband, and I just activated his yesterday, as he has been out of the country until now. I've been setting up his phone for him, and I noticed that when I go to "Market" (the Android App Market, not Amazon's) on his phone, his version of Market is different than mine. His version of Market is much more updated and streamlined and easier to use than mine. How could the 2 versions of Market be so different, and what can I do to update mine to this seemingly better version?

If you're rooted you can download the leaked version of the market and install it yourself over Vending.apk in /system/app/

Otherwise you'll just have to wait until your phone gets the update as well. I wish they released it to all devices at once.

Ah....thank you so much. Good to know it's not just me and that there really is an update out there. I don't think I'm rooted.....I'm new to the Droid system; is that difficult to do?
