App Suggestions Required

Since I've been using an unrooted Desire without a custom ROM I am missing various features I was used to.

Is there a decent ad blocking app for non-rooted handsets? Also, is there an app which will let me use the trackpad to wake the phone up? I'd forgotten how annoying it was to keep having to press the button on the top.

For blocking, I assume you mean blocking calls and sms? Call Control.works good.

Cheers mate. Although I was referring to an ad blocker which blocks the adverts in apps etc.

Since that involves editing the hosts file, I'm fairly certain it's impossible without root. Any app that claims to do it, probably doesn't work well if at all. And it is likely that it won't stop ads from loading, it just might not display them. I could be wrong though.
