App that lets you read RSS feeds offline?

JustStan

I'm was just wondering is there an app that will check my RSS feeds from Feedly and download them so I can read them later offline?

I know that there are many apps that advertise so-called "offline reading" but most of them only download the first paragraph, and in order to view the whole article you have to tap "load full article" button that requires internet connection to load the content.

So far I've noticed that only gReader downloads full articles, but since I often read in non-English sometimes I have problems with characters not displaying properly.

I've also tried Flyne, but it's still a young app, and it doesn't work with all articles and it has the similar problem as other offline RSS readers, although some pages work.

So I'm wondering is there any RSS reader that will download and store full articles so I can read them offline?

Just to be clear, I'm looking for an app that will automatically download articles and save the for offline reading, and apps like Pocket won't work, since I already tried them out :)

Thanks for the suggestion nikanorov. I've downloaded your app, but I'm afraid it has the same problem as many other similar apps.

Offline viewing works, that's true, but in order to read the whole article we have to tap the Readability button which doesn't load the entire article if you're offline.

If I may make a suggestion, "auto-Readability" (in lack of better term) would be a great option. Simply put, full articles would be downloaded locally and you could read them anytime you want. I suggest that you check out gReader, it's the only app that caches complete articles offline, and such option would be great in NewsJet.

At least that's what I'm looking for. :)

JustStan, from the development part it is not difficult to implement. Unfortunately using the Readability for this could be too costly. I will investigate the possibility to implement such feature with the Readability or other services (probably my own servers).

I think, it is not app's problem. It has to do how RSS feeds are set up by the website or the blog. I have about 250 feeds and some give full article, some give just a line (because they want you to visit the blog for advertisement revenue or something).

I am using FeedMe at this moment and I 'think' it can also do offline job if your feed can be downloaded completely. Give it a try.

I think I tried out FeedMe a back ago, but I didn't found the way to make it display my articles fully offline, but I could give it another run. :)

Only app that does this so far is the gReader, and somewhat Flyne (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't).

As for websites, I've noticed that many websites display only first paragraph or so in RSS feeds, but gReader somehow manages to download them all (full text, sometimes even images), after some playing with cache settings.

I gave FeedMe another run, and I had similar experience as you. Sometimes the full web view is display, but in most cases only snippet (or feed view) is downloaded.

I don't know what the problem is, but some articles from a same feed are downloaded fully while others just show teasers.
