App That Reminds Every N Minutes?

I have several Android stopwatch and timer applications that do those functions well enough. I am looking for a variant of this idea that would simply emit a small tone every N minutes until I tell it to stop. For example, I might set the timer to 20 minutes, and then the tone would be:

at 20 minutes: one tone sound
at 40 minutes: two tone sounds
at 60 minutes: three tone sounds

I am using this as a background reminder to perform some task that can be delayed by more urgent tasks.

Does this application exist?

That is an option, but I wasn't exactly looking to program a script every time I need to set a reminder....

If it is the same interval every time you can create a Tasker widget so that when you click on it the timer will start. Sorry that may not be exactly what you are looking for, just the first solution that I thought of.
