Root App to allow notification light to flash while screen is on?

Hi guys, I am wondering if there is a way or an app that will allow my notifications light to flash while my screen is on. It used to do this when I was on stock rom 4.1.2 and I enjoyed it a lot, it was helpful to know when I got a text or something while I was watching a video or playing a game on my phone. I am on the Spirit Rom (4.4.4) and rooted. Notification light will only work when my screen is off but again I would really like it to work when my screen is on as well. Thanks!

Found a fix! Light Flow, an app, corrected the issue for me. Had to mess around to find a combination of settings that would work to produce the results I wanted but I got it figured out. If anyone stumbles across this post wanting the notification lights to work even when your phone screen is on, let me know and I will provide the details.
