app to control notifications

I saw on here somehwere that people are using an app to lower volume on notifications during the night and yet still use the phone as an alarm clock.

The name of that app would be great

AudioManager actually...or you can use something like Locale to change your settings depending on where you are. There is another one that works based on what time it is...so at 10pm you could have notifications muted but alarm cranked up. I can't recall the name off hand...a quick search should find it.

Sound Manager lets you set the volume (and vibrate on/off) of each notification independently, by time, and by day of the week. And you can make each schedule active/inactive.

Cool, I though it was just a typo. I'll check it out, sounds nice.

You dont need an app to get this done. Your alarm volume can be adjusted when picking your alarm tone and works regardless of if you turn your notification sounds to silent.
