App to find my car that uses bluetooth to remember location?

Not sure if there's an app like this. I have an app that if I remember to make a waypoint, later I can open the app and it gives me an arrow and how far my car is. But, I just got to thinking my phone is connected to my car with bluetooth. Seems like there would be an app that would recognize that and then when the bluetooth to my car is lost, that means I turned off my car so it would automatically save that waypoint so I can find my way back. Does such an app exist?

google maps i have used to remember where my car is at. what is your phone connecting to via bluetooth? your car stereo? if so does it not need to be turned on in order for that to work?

Yes, the car has to be on for bluetooth to connect to my car. I'm saying that when my car turns off and my phone disconnects because the car is off, my phone should automatically obtain my gps coordinates so I can find my car later.

I don't think there's any specific app that does that, but maybe it could be implemented with Tasker or Macrodroid? And something like this will very likely not be useful in an underground or multi-story car oark.

Do you often forget where you left your car?
