App to Link Two Tablets

I want to control one tablet from the other. the one I'm using as a teleprompter so it will be some distance away from me. The other will be at my fingertips.

Is there an app for this?

If you root the teleprompter device, then you could install a vnc server on it.

Then run a vnc client on the other device; no rooting required for this one.
