app to lock the delete function?

I have a buddy I share my phone with and we are currently without an SD card. We download movies and watch them but quickly run out of space on the phone. 4 times now he has "accidentally" deleted all the movies for some reason or another. I want to know if there is an app out there, or some function to password protector lock the delete ability.
