pulling my hair out trying to get appbrain to install apps. have checked several threads on appbrain here but not found my problem.
selected an app on appbrain site from my pc and it shows it with "cancel install". on my android 2.2 phone, appbrain shows the app under "pending changes". so it looks like the appbrain web has sync'd with my phone appbrain but the selected app isn't installing. i've pressed the "sync with appbrain" button countless times (over 2 days) to no avail. both my pc and the phone are connected to my home wifi. i've got "unknown sources" checked to allow installs of non-market apps. anything else i should check/set? what am i doing wrong?
tried this: deleted “problem” apps on phone and on web, added app in web which sync’d with phone but when did “perform installs”, came up with “the requested item could not be found”, same result if press Install on pending app. after persisting for a bit i did find an app that installed, so does that mean there's a problem with the 'first aid' app that i'm trying to install or a problem with appbrain?
