That title is more interesting than this post. Sorry.
Anyway, my only Android device to date was a Sanyo Zio when I was on cricket for a short time. Now I have my iPhone 4 which I love, etc.
Why I'm here, you ask?
I'm getting the Asus Transformer (or Slider... or Samsung 10.1, nah probably the Transformer), plus I wanted to keep more up to date on the other tablets.
Why not an iPad 2?
I need a keyboard on a tablet to make it useful to me. I'm a writer, so there's no way I can do three thousand words a day by typing on a screen. Also, I like the fact that you can use it without a comp, not to mention no censorship towards apps.
Why not a laptop?
Because for everything other than typing, a tablet is better in my not-so-humble opinion. Videos, music, browsing: most of what I do besides writing.
Why the Transformer?
I can't wait another month for the Slider and the keyboard does look better, plus it may end up replacing my Macbook. 15 hours of battery life.
And the Transformer looks set to be better than its closest competitors.
Anyway, I should be around here more often if I do get my Transformer. So, um, *awkward silence*, hello all.
