I have been an Iphone user and wanted to try the new Droid. I wanted more speed. This is not what I thought it was. No apps are even tested, None of the apps work 100% and most are a joke. with apple they care about there name so they test every app, it may not be a great app but every apple app works. Droid can do a lot. but when it comes to the app world Droid is way behind.
Then we have the market place on Verizon, Not funny
when I buy an app from apple it works, when I buy an app from the market they say they have no control, I have the new Samsung Charge, I can buy any app listed even if it has not been tested for my phone, there should be a store for your droid only, not a free for all crazy store.
So if you want a phone and apps that work Apple is still number ONE.
If you want to be a hacker and try and get the apps to work then Droid is for you. I thought it was just me but I deal poker and have asked every Droid user if they have any problems with there apps and thay all have said yes. So it comes down to droid. They should step up and start testing these apps and not let them through unless it works. then they need to only allow the sale of apps that have been tested for that droid model, not like now, One app for all Droids.
Droid is a nice phone but the apps make a phone and Apple seems to be ahead of the game.
I am going to keep using my Droid and when I see new good apps come out I will let others know.
