Apple to sd

This is for the moment highly theoretical. I MAY be able to get a used apple phone for free. Yes, I know it's treason. Face it...the camera's better. Anyway, I was wondering if it would be possible to transfer or copy photos and videos to the Stylus sd card. Since it's 1 tb it should hold plenty. I hope it would not require a computer. Is there any loss of quality with that? Is it even doable?

Would a Vanja or other fine brand work for that? I have a fake Vanja (but maybe better) from Best Buy. I haven't used it in quite a while but it was ok.

At last I have that phone. I know it's apple because it has that picture on the back. What should I do now? It doesn't have a charger.

I guess it's going to require a different one than for Android. Could it be a lightning cable? I see those sometimes but don't know much about them. Will any old wall wart do?

Apple is known for their proprietary ports and cables. I have a wall wart and cable here so my son can grab a charge if needed while visiting. I seem to recall that a few years back he brought a different wart and cable because the old setup was made obsolete when he upgraded his phone. I know so little about the apple set up beyond it is a walled garden that many love. I'm far from a source for information.

Thanks anyway, I appreciate it. Maybe Family Dollar will have something. They've got a lot of chargers, earbuds, etc. Maybe I could try looking it up on another website.

There isn't enough information. The se itself is pretty chary with its own. I guess I'll just have to take my chances...

I got lucky. The lightning cable charged this thing and I was able to use a regular wall wart that I already had. Now what do I do? Is there some kind of instruction manual? Besides the button for shutting off the screen (on the right) and I guess volume on the left, there is only a biggish round button in the middle near the bottom. Apparently apple tries to keep most things hidden from the user.

I skimmed through the thread, if you have an android device you can just transfer the pictures & videos wirelessly to the iPhone.

It appears to be an older iPhone but it should still ask during setup if you want to transfer whatever.

Older iPhones use a lightning cable, newer ones at least in the USA use USB C cables to charge with.

It's old, all right. It's the se with the big round actual button at the bottom. It does use a lightning cable which cost 8 and tax. I would be looking to send files from it to the Moto G Stylus, not vice versa. Will picture quality suffer because of being sent to/displayed by an Android?

I wouldn’t think picture quality would suffer but it might. There should be a wireless transfer app or option though.
