What else is new with apple. I mean they aren't going to release their iphone until the fall so they are trying to keep as many sales from Samsung as they can.
I knew it was just matter of time. They are going after HTC One series as well. I think they are kind of indirectly admitting that iPhone can't compete just based on the technologies. So they are going all out with lawsuits.
I was a little surprised Sammy didn't change the home button design for US versions like before. Apparently they were expecting this to come, so they might have some cards for legal fights with apple.
Yes, they also know that there's 9million people NOT buying the upcoming iphone 4S+.
You know when apple announces their new map service it will be revolutionary and they will sue everyone else for it, and the isheep will blindly follow, believing what is "marketed" without looking into it for themselves. I used to like apple for what they did and the products they made but lately, I just can't support them.Seems public opinion is against Apple on this, they are even getting a bit of a kicking on engadget, even their customers seem to think this is just dumb. The Verge comments are pretty negative too.
When it starts hurting their bottom line they might think twice.
It may be wishful thinking but I think Apple are on the wane, Jobs gone, Cook is not as enigmatic, we need to wait for WWDC but it doesn't seem that they have any big things coming (bar mapping, which google has stolen their thunder on). No new iphone for a while and ultimately it doesn't really matter because we'll see the software at WWDC. 4S was a bit of a flop really, "new" ipad was the same to a lesser extent.
Just seems their momentum is slowing and its becoming less "hip" to own their stuff.
Thats what I'm saying though, if you read the comments there are people saying stuff like "I hate android but I think Apple are being stupid" or "I was pondering waiting for the iphone for get the S3, Apple just made my mind up to order the S3" or people who have a big investment in Apple stuff (macbook, ipohone, ipad) who are criticizing Apple.
I think some of the sheep are waking up.
Do they even own the Patton on sir type stuff?
There are still a few fan boys posting:
"The S-voice thing is clearly a rip off and whoever keeps supporting a company that keeps blatantly copying the big man, should be ashamed."
Yeah, cause my primary concern when buying a device is whether its copied anything else...NOT

I might agree with the S-voice thing, except for the fact that S Voice is an integrated feature using Vlingo's servers. Essentially, it is the Vlingo app built specifically for S3, with minor upgrades from the original app. This is probably how Samsung is able to skirt around the very, broad Siri patent.
I think you will find Siri is the rip Off
The S3 S2 and Note have there Voice software powered by Vlingo who hold there patent on this and its available on Apple as well so if Apple push this Vlingo will be getting interested in this
Plus Siri is in Beta so as its not a registered App the Tuff
To be honest, I think every company copies from each other and these lawsuits are silly. I would imagine that other companies sue just as often as Apple, it just doesn't make the news.
S-Voice is just an updated version of Vlingo with more commands, Vlingo was included on the Galaxy S2 on launch long before the iPhone 4s was released.
So I don't get it, why now?
